Visa · Nigerian passports
e-Visa
Nigerians need a visa, applied for online via the e-Albania portal (allow 4–6 weeks). Holders of a valid, previously used multiple-entry Schengen, UK or US visa, or a residence permit, may enter visa-free for up to 90 days. European, American and Canadian passport holders generally do not need a visa for short stays; requirements will be checked for each nationality.
Currency
Albanian Lek
Local currency is the Lek (ALL), roughly 95–100 Lek to €1. Euros are widely accepted at hotels and beach clubs; cards work in hotels and most restaurants. Carry some cash for taxis and small cafés.
Power & charging
Type C / F
230V, 50Hz with European two-round-pin sockets. Nigerian (and UK) three-pin plugs need a Type C/F adapter. Most phone and laptop chargers work without a converter.
